During this difficult time in our history, God is still on the throne and using all things for His good. Because of people like you, who have given through SOFM for the Albania Food Bundles, we were told of one man whose life has been completely changed.

This man lives alone and is 80 years old. He has nobody in his life. He lives on a pig farm and for six months nobody has come to visit him. Yesterday Geno and others walked up to his dwelling with a food bundle. It was snowing and very cold both outside and inside his home because he doesn’t have any heat. The man cried for a half hour when he saw our friends from Pastor Plator’s church(es) coming to see him and bringing food. The man told them that he was so thankful but didn’t have anything to cook with. He told Geno that it would be a miracle for him to live through the winter. Aside from the food that was given to him, Pastor Plator will return today and bring a stove so that he can cook and have some heat in his home.

This is only one of many stories that will be spoken because of the generosity of those giving to our Albania Relief efforts. Thank you, thank you, thank you! This man was lost, lonely and hopeless, but God stepped in through this unthinkable time and brought pastors to his door step with food, warmth and the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
