This Saturday our team of 9 will be going down to Atlantic City to partner with New City Fellowship Church of AC for our 11th year! Pastor Santo and his team will be leading us with discipleship on racial reconciliation as well as work projects. Our team has prepared a 3 night Bible Club with the theme of ‘Jesus breaks down the dividing walls’. We are excited to go to Carver Hall, the first apartment complex that our SOFM team went to many years ago!

We appreciate your prayers while we are there from August 14-20. Thank you!  Here  are  a few  pictures  from previous  years!

We finished up our 8th year with our Maple Leaf students with a trip to the Point Pleasant boardwalk last week! While this year was definitely a different year, it was no less a blessing for both the students and volunteers. With a smaller group meeting at the Allenwood Church in Allenwood, we were able to do more with the students and build on our relationships!

A huge thank you to this year’s volunteers… Lori, Addie, Tom, Josephine, Caroline, Rachel and Matt

And likewise a huge thank you to Pastor Dave for letting us use the downstairs of their church each Wednesday!

We look forward to staying connected with the students during the summer! And we just found out that we can resume at the Maple Leaf Clubhouse in the fall!!

Merry Christmas to All!

Last week a small group of volunteers blessed 7 students from Maple Leaf at our annual Christmas party! Even though it looked a little different this year with a much smaller group, it was no less fun for all!

[Click on the arrows above to see all the fun!]

A big thank you to Debra Stasiak founder of Aspiring Artists, who came and did two art projects with the kids so that they could gift them to their family. As well as Josephine S. from Calvary Presbyterian Church, who also did two projects with the kids, making Christmas cookies and a beautiful jar full of hot cocoa mix to either give or enjoy!

St. Paul’s Methodist Church’s knitting group knit beautiful hats again this year that were given as part of the kids Christmas gift after having some dinner and hearing a short devotional about the greatest Gift of all…Jesus Christ!

Thank you to all the volunteers and for Allenwood Church for allowing us to have a wonderful time this year on a very snowy day!
