Clean Water is Flowing in Lac’ajue!

I am sometimes asked, “What can you possibly do during one week in Haiti?” My reply, “A lot more than if we didn’t spend one week in Haiti.”

The Bible is clear that we are to help those in need. But not only to help meet tangible needs, but to ‘go’ and tell others about the only One who can bring hope out of despair and who can bless them with an eternal future… Jesus Christ.

Since 2007 it has been a privilege to not only go to Haiti but to bring others who desire to see what God is doing there and become a vessel of hope.

Recently we received a donation from one donor who has not even been to Haiti but has followed and read about all that God is doing there. Her donation is why we can send these pictures to you showing our families in Lac’ajue receiving clean water to drink.

Our partnership with Aslan Youth Ministry has been a beautiful picture of what Jesus calls us to do. By partnering with Aslan, SOFM has been welcomed to their property in Lac’ajue sine 2007. Through the past 10 years we have been blessed to expose people, both team members and not, to all that the Lord is doing there and then prayed for answers to the needs of the people. Over the past 10 years some of the major blessings we have seen are the Grains of Grace Feeding Program birthed, close to 100 families receive ‘light’ through the LuminAid Solar Lanterns, many enrolled in school, graduates of college now serving at the Medical Clinic and on the land in other capacities, and now clean water, and soon public bathrooms! We serve an awesome God!

So… those short term missionaries are used greatly in the sharing of the Gospel of Jesus as well as helping to meet tangible needs.

So how can you help?…

Consider coming out this Saturday, March 18th between 9-11 AM at Redeemer Fellowship [1644 N. Bay Ave. Toms River] to have a warm, home made pancake breakfast, to hear about the upcoming Haiti trip this summer and if you can, bring a love offering for the team to put towards their team costs.

If you are unable to attend, but would like to help our team, you can simply send a donation check to:

Step of Faith Ministry / PO Box 805 Brick NJ 08723 / Memo: Support of Haiti Mission Team

But if you can make it out, you will hear first hand all that is going on in Haiti and meet some of our team members!

Thank you for your prayers and support.
