During the week of July 22nd, the Jersey Shore was blessed by a team of 30+ from Erin’s Gifts Ministry. This team from Pitman, NJ partnered with Step of Faith and Remedy Church to provide Sandy Relief to homes in Point Pleasant and Toms River, as well as a beautiful Vacation Bible School for children from the Maple Leaf Apartments and local church.

The work teams were so skilled that they provided relief far beyond the origional expectations. The home owners were blown away by the relief that they received, all in the name of Jesus.

The 25 children who attended the VBS were exposed to positive, Jesus-centered teachings that surrounded the theme “Stand Strong for God”. Each day they took part in skits, songs, arts & crafts, games and a snack. As the Gospel was presented, hearts were changed and souls were saved.

One child, after hearing the salvation message and praying to receive Christ, went home and told her mom that she was a sinner and needed to be forgiven by Jesus. She asked her mom if she wanted to pray with her to receive Jesus into her heart, and her mom did. That was worth the whole week!

There are so many people who made this week possible. A huge thank you to the many hands & feet, administration and prayer warriors who all had a part in changing lives and bringing hope to this community.
