Hello Everyone,
What a wonderful ‘rain-free’ evening last night at the Lakewood BlueClaws Baseball Stadium! The Step of Faith family was treated to some extra special activities that included being on the field before the game, meeting Buster and the new roaming dinosaur, watching our very own Bobby M. throw out the first pitch, and seeing our 5 minute video, that highlighted SOFM, played on the jumbo screen!
We also were blessed before the game to hear testimony from former Philly’s player Bob Malkmus and two current BlueClaws players. They all shared about their relationship with Jesus Christ and how He has impacted their lives and given them a platform to bring glory to Christ through baseball. We even got to hear, on cassette tape, the broadcast of Bob Malkmus hitting his first home run!
Jake Buss, Remedy’s worship leader, sang and played guitar at the front gate of the stadium before and at the end of the game. His music filled the area where our tent was set up and was a blessing to hear.
Attendees of the game visited our SOFM tent through out the evening and we had many opportunities to share the vision of SOFM.
Many thanks to Mike Ryan and the staff at the BlueClaws stadium for their hospitality at the two Faith Nights that we sponsored this year.
And thanks to all who came out to the game and who came by our table to meet us. Check out the photo gallery below!
Just One Drop,
Pam
