Hello Everyone!
We wanted to put the need out to everyone, along with a reminder, about those in Haiti who we continue to support. While Haiti battles unrest and uncertain times, SOFM continues to help the people of Lac’ajue in a variety of ways, one very important way is helping to fund the running of the Clinic of Hope.
This clinic continues to bring FREE life-saving care to the children of Lac’ajue as well as care to the adults of the community. For over 8 years now, SOFM has been able to provide monthly support because of our wonderful donors! Each month this support supplies:
- Medication, IV’s and a variety of medical related needs
- Diesel fuel to run the clinic’s lights, water and air-conditioning
- Staff salaries – Doctor, nurse, lab tech, administrator, pharmacist and cleaning lady
- Cleaning supplies
Without this clinic, many lives would have been lost over these years. We are so thankful for the continued support!
As Bob Hager would say, “When there is a need, you just need to put it out and let God do the rest.” So… we have a need…
Our monthly support is low and we are praying that this update will help us replenish the funds needed to keep this clinic running past this November. Currently we provide $1385 a month for the running of the clinic.
