Our team returned home from Albania a few weeks ago. Thank you for praying for us while we served with Pastor Plator & Nicole, along with their volunteers and staff with Hands of Providence! The picture below is “Paul’s Bridge” where it is said that the Apostle Paul walked over on one of his missionary journeys. Above is a beautiful story of God’s faithfulness and timing… This year’s trip included a family of 3. Leora, the daughter on this trip, and I met when she was very young and in my acro gymnastics class at her mom Tina’s dance studio. As a young but gifted dancer, she learned gymnastics very quickly. Years later she decided to come to Albania…
While this is happening, a friend in Albania was struggling with depression. During one of our talks, I sent her the song The Truth by Megan Woods. After praying with her and asking our board to pray for her one night, she reached out the next morning to say that God healed her during the night and she felt free! As she began to live in this new found freedom, I felt led to ask Leora if she would be interested in dancing to the song The Truth at the Women’s Day Event that our team would be hosting while in Albania…she said of course! As it turned out, this song was also the opening song for this year’s dance recital at her mom’s dance studio. With many women in Albania just coming into their own relationship with Jesus and perhaps feeling alone or unsure, this song was perfect to encourage all in attendance! A story that we all were able to share together while in Albania… Thank you Jesus for Your faithfulness!
