SECOND: Clinic In a Tote
During the months of April and May many of our local churches are helping to collect specific medical supplies for the team to bring down in June. All the medical supplies will be brought to the Aslan Medical Clinic in Lac’ajue where the doctors and nurses have been serving since July of 2015. We can not thank you all enough for your involvement with this much needed collection!
THIRD: Clean Water Project
We can so easily take clean drinking water for granted. However, in Haiti, as all 3rd world countries, finding clean water is a matter of life and death. Through a wonderful supporter, SOFM was able to provide the funding to Aslan Youth Ministry so that the construction of a clean water distribution center along with public bathrooms can be built on the Aslan property in Lac’ajue. This project is providing jobs for many Haitians right now through the construction of it all and will continue to provide a few jobs when it comes time for water to be distributed daily and for the bathrooms to be watched over and cleaned. The bathrooms are equally crucial for the people of Lac’ajue and will be opened any time the Medical Clinic is open, as well as church services and church events. We are so thankful for the support for this to become a reality and will change the lives of so many.
God is so good!
Thank you ~
