Mission Trips
Each year Step of Faith Ministry offers opportunities for youth and adults to go on mission trips both locally in Atlantic City, NJ and abroad in Haiti.
We are looking for people who have a heart to serve those in need as they share the love of Jesus with a ‘flexible and pioneering spirit.’
We also are looking to bring teams to Albania starting in the near future!
Atlantic City Mission Trips happens during the summer and consist of 6 days in AC working on rehabbing homes during the day, while the early evenings are spent offering Bible Clubs to local housing complexes.
This trip is suitable for High School age students through adults.
Construction, plumbing, electrical, painting and the like talents, are not required, but are welcomed!
Haiti Mission Trips happen throughout the year. The duration and timing of each trip varies depending on the type of trip. SOFM partners with Aslan Youth Ministry of Red Bank, NJ in the development of and ministry to the people of Lac’ajue. SOFM also partners with Double Harvest in Port-au-Prince to provide education for 50 Haitian students.
Most trips are suitable for High School age students through adults.
Trips will vary in focus from:
– Providing week-long Bible Clubs and Youth Camp
– Nurses and doctors providing medical care at a medical clinic
– Work teams helping with construction projects
Albania Mission Trips should be starting soon. In 2018 a small group of us went to Albania to see all that Pastor Plator and his growing church plants are doing in the area of Korce. Their ministry is helping the helpless, orphans, street kids, and Muslims come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Their churches are full of new converts who are eager to go our and tell others about Jesus! They are being used by God in so many ways and we hope to work along side them in the years to come both through financial giving and hands on mission trips!
