Albania Pastor & Staff Support
Albania is not a rich country. Many Albanians (once they are finished with college) will move to another European country where they can make 4 times the amount in salary as they would if they stayed in Albania. However, Pastor Plator is raising up many young, committed Christians (who were once Muslim or atheist) who desire to stay in Albania and serve within the church. These young people are going throughout the week to the 98 villages surrounding Korce, bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to some of the most remote places that have never heard the name Jesus! As well as overseeing children’s programs, woman’s bible studies, food distributions and helping to grow the current 9 locations. The following faithful servants are willing to do whatever the Lord is calling them to do to spread the Gospel.
We are looking to help raise awareness for the need of their support so they can carry out the calling that God has on their lives…
Denis is Pastor Plator’s right-hand man who does anything that is needed for the ministry on a weekly basis. Without people like Denis, Pastor Plator could not be accomplishing all that is being done. Here is a list of his current roles:
- Delivering the food boxes each month
- Purchasing the items for the food boxes
- Meet with the recipients with the pastor/other leaders to maintain a relationship, be aware of their needs, and share the gospel with them
- Managing the logistics of the ministry, including providing transport for mission teams, helping with construction projects, etc.
- Help with special projects with the Evangelical team, such as helping to deliver the Christmas shoeboxes
Goli & Jana [and baby Noah] are a couple who have been involved with the ministry for many years. Serving in different capacities that include the worship team, Evangelical Team, distribution of various needs and preparing for children’s programs throughout the week. They are also the couple who oversee the Pirg children’s program that will become one of the next church plants in the town of Pirg. Weekly they are investing into this village and building relationships with the families. A part of the future vision is for Goli to one day be the pastor of this church. Their hearts are very devoted to this area and the fruit is seen clearly in the growth of the children’s program over the years.
Klevis (Visi) currently has no support. He is a faithful servant who God has raised up to be the Youth Director within the churches. Along with his weekly responsibilities with the youth, he also oversees and uses his ability with construction to lead the construction projects throughout the ministry. He is always helping in some capacity whether it is picking up supplies, distributing supplies, visiting families or investing in the many youth of the church. He is doing all of this without any financial support. Everyone on this page are in need of support in order to sustain themselves or their spouse. His heart is to see many come to Jesus. He has given God his “yes” and prayerfully financial support will be provided soon so that he can take care of himself and future wife Sara.
Nicole meet Plator in 2021 and in the fall of 2023 they married. She sold everything and moved to Albania to be a fulltime wife and missionary. She oversee so many aspects of the ministry while not currently receiving any financial support. Her many responsibilities include leadership over the woman’s ministries, administration and communications, starting up small businesses where the profits are going to support various aspects of the ministries, as well as her involvement with the European Leadership Forum for Women’s Leadership. I have witnessed Nicole firsthand in Albania and she has transformed the way things are being done! Allowing for the ministry to expand their influence for the gospel in multiple ways! Her heart for her husband and her calling is beautiful to see.
