During this difficult time, SOFM is looking to help those who are in dire need in both Albania and Haiti. While we continue to keep our ears open to local needs, the needs of these two countries have been made clear and we want to pass the need along.
In Albania, our friend Pastor Plator, has been contacted by the government and has been asked if the church can help with the needs of those in the community. His churches will be making up food bundles to distribute to those both in the church and in the community who are widows, orphans, street kids and those most in need. Food prices have tripled in the past few days while people are not allowed to work and are told to stay at home.
In Haiti, through our partnership with Aslan Youth Ministry, we are providing money to allow the people of Lac’ajue to receive an increase of rice and beans for the next 3 months; extra fuel money is being sent to run the generator so the medical clinic can remain open and the clean water program can continue to provide for the people for the next 3 months and emergency money is being sent in anticipation of increase in sickness.
If you are able to help in any way, you can do so through our Paypal account on our site. You can indicate either Haiti Relief or Albania Relief.
Or you can send a check to Step of Faith: PO Box 805 / Brick NJ / 08723
Thank you for your prayers!
